2. Structural Description

Machine Bed

The machine bed is made of high-strength cast iron. The casting structure has undergone machine tool dynamics and finite element analysis, with a reasonable combination of reinforcing ribs and stable structure, permanently ensuring quality. This guarantees high rigidity of the base components. The wide and solid machine bed structure, along with the fully load-bearing cross slide, ensures heavy-load capacity during machining.

Column

The machine column is made of high-strength cast iron. The casting structure has undergone machine tool dynamics and finite element analysis. The box-shaped column, combined with a reasonable reinforcing rib structure and stable structure, guarantees high rigidity of the base components and ensures heavy-load capacity during machining. Combined with precision grinding, it achieves satisfactory accuracy and quality.

Spindle Box

The spindle box structure has undergone finite element analysis of structural statics, dynamics, and topology. The reasonable structural design and the combination of reinforcing ribs ensure high rigidity of the box.

Cross Slide

The machine tool cross slide is made of high-strength cast iron. The casting structure has undergone machine tool dynamics and finite element analysis. Combined with reasonable reinforcing ribs and a fully load-bearing cross slide, it ensures heavy-load capacity during machining.

Spindle

The standard spindle configuration is a direct-drive spindle: a high-speed, high-precision spindle directly drives the motor via a backlash-free flexible coupling, reaching speeds up to 12000 rpm. It features high-performance grease-lubricated spindle bearings and an economical spindle head cooling system to effectively control high-speed spindle temperature rise. A belt-driven spindle is optional (optional): the spindle and motor are driven by a high-torque toothed belt, preventing slippage and reaching speeds up to 8000 rpm. The spindle also uses high-performance grease-lubricated spindle bearings and an economical spindle head cooling system to effectively control high-speed spindle temperature rise. The spindle utilizes an IRD dynamic balancing device to directly correct its dynamic balance, preventing resonance during high-speed operation and ensuring optimal machining accuracy.

Worktable

The machine tool worktable is made of high-strength cast iron. The casting structure has undergone machine tool dynamics and finite element analysis, and is equipped with reasonable reinforcing ribs to ensure heavy load capacity during machining under the full load support of the cross slide. This ensures high rigidity of the base components.

Lead Screws

The X, Y, and Z axis lead screws of the machine tool all use high-precision ball screw pairs, employing dedicated lead screw bearings, a 3-front-2-rear fixed configuration, and double-nut preload, thereby enhancing rigidity and improving accuracy stability. The pre-tensioning of the ball screws significantly increases transmission rigidity and eliminates the effects of thermal deformation during rapid movement. Furthermore, all three axes use a dual-frequency laser interferometer for pitch compensation, thus ensuring the machine tool’s positioning accuracy and repeatability.

**Guide Rails**

The X, Y, and Z axis feeds utilize linear rolling guide rails, ensuring high precision and excellent load-bearing capacity, thus guaranteeing the machine tool’s positioning accuracy and repeatability.

**Tool Magazine**

The tool magazine is a robotic tool changer: It has a capacity of 24 tools, featuring a double-arm automatic tool changer and a cam-driven tool change mechanism, driven by a motor for rapid and stable operation. The large-capacity tool storage compartment, driven and positioned by a motor and cylindrical cam, offers high stability. A hood-type tool magazine (special configuration) is also available: It has a capacity of 20 tools, with tool selection from the nearest tool turret. Tool changing is pneumatically and electrically controlled, resulting in pollution-free operation, easy maintenance, and fast and reliable tool exchange.

**Appearance and Protection**

The machine tool is equipped with an integrated protective cover, which is aesthetically pleasing, safe, leak-proof, and environmentally friendly. Sealed guide rail protective covers effectively protect the guide rails and lead screw moving parts, extending their service life. The machine tool is equipped with a manual air gun and water gun (optional) for easy removal of metal chips.

**System**
The CNC control system uses a standard FANUC 0i-MF system. PLUS(5) CNC system, other systems are optional.
